Great Universal Stores Great Universal Stores was founded in 1900,as a mail order business in Manchester, originally called universal stores. In 1930 the company changed it's name to Great Universal Stores Limited, and is now incorporated into K & Co.

Empire Stores The Northern Trading Company, parent of Empire Stores was formed in 1907, with the name changing to Empire Stores in 1910. Empire Stores is still serving customers today as part of Kay&Co.

Freemans Catalogue Freemans started trading in 1905, making it one of the oldest catalogues in the UK. It Merged with Grattan in 1999 and relocated from its London offices to Bradford.

Kays Kays can be traced back to 1794. The company became Kay & Co Ltd in 1895 and was based in Worcester. Today, Kays if known as K&Co and incorporates both Great Universal and Empire Stores.

. La Redoute La Redoute was founded in 1922 and is France's No 1 Fashion Collection. It was launched in the UK in 1995. Its is part of the Redcats group which also includes Daxon.

Grattan Grattan catalogues was founded in 1912 by John Fattorini, in Bradford, Yorkshire. In 1999 in was acquired by Freemans owner Otto UK.

Studio Cards Studio Cards (also known as 24Studio) was founded in 1962 in Lancashire UK,where it specialised predominantly in the provision of paper products (Christmas and greeting cards). In 2003, it began selling clothing and footwear. 24Studio.
